Coopers and T-Bone Music proudly presented The Men from U.N.C.L.E. at Manly Pacific, supporting The Alohas and Steak Lovers.
I'd never seen the Steak Lovers before but was god-damned blown away right from the first crashing chords and pumping bassline of their sound check on the Easybeats' ‘Feel All Right’ and immediately began hatching plans to kidnap their pianist and lock him in a basement until he agreed to join The Men from U.N.C.L.E.
I hadn't ever been to the Charlton Bar before either, but it's a great venue filled with pleasant sea breezes. I could even see the white caps on the waves breaking on North Steyne from the stage. I'll definitely return there, to play, or to see The Alohas (who rule) or the Steak Lovers.
